Anyone who knows me personally knows that my life is often surrounded by chaos. As of late we have added to that chaos in an extreme way. We now have a total of 5 adults and at times, 3 kids living in our 3 bedroom house, yes, were trying to find a bigger place with some land, don't worry. We are creating what many in the know call an "intentional community". Visions of hairy armpits and larger than life compost heaps may be dancing in your head, and at least the compost heap portion is a necessity once we move, but there is a lot more to the whole vision than that.
Over the next weeks I'm going to be working on re-invigorating this blog. Writing about this journey we are embarking on, sharing our ideas and discoveries as we learn to go from wasteful, consumer driven convenience whores to natural, whole food eating, toothpaste making, frugal living naturalists. This adventure is going to be anything but easy and will likely result in a lot of swearing and yearning for taquitos from me, but if nothing it else it should provide the lot of you with some amusement.
Up next: Why were doing this, and DIY bathroom products...why bother?

yes! We propably aren't going vegan anytime soon, but any good recipies or substutions would be fantastic. And yay for Trevor, i haven't talked to Trevor in years! Any cool DIY stuff would rock, i'm trying to milk this obsession!
